About Visit Snake Road | Our Story & Mission

More Than a Store

Visit Snake Road was created to celebrate one of North America's most remarkable wildlife destinations.

Every spring and fall, people travel from across the country to experience the incredible snake migrations of the LaRue-Pine Hills. Whether you're a first-time visitor, a lifelong reptile enthusiast, a wildlife photographer, or simply someone who appreciates the outdoors, Snake Road offers an experience unlike anywhere else.

Our goal is simple: help more people discover, appreciate, and remember this extraordinary place.

Inspired by the Road

Every design begins with a genuine appreciation for Snake Road and the wildlife that makes it special.

From original apparel and stickers to wildlife art and field gear, our products are created to celebrate the experience of exploring Snake Road, not simply to sell souvenirs.

Whether you spotted your first Cottonmouth, photographed a Timber Rattlesnake, completed your field checklist, or simply enjoyed a peaceful walk through the forest, we hope you'll find something that helps you remember your visit.

Behind Visit Snake Road

Visit Snake Road was founded by wildlife photographer Travis Biggs, whose passion for nature, photography, and conservation has brought him back to Snake Road time and time again.

Through years of exploring the area and photographing its remarkable wildlife, he developed a deep appreciation for the unique experience Snake Road offers. Visit Snake Road grew from a desire to share that appreciation with others through helpful visitor resources and original products inspired by the Road.
